Our story

With extensive sales and customer service experience, friends Hus and Rob combined their powers to launch an eBay business in the early 2000’s.  While eBay didn’t end up being the secret to their success, it did spark their entrepreneur partnership, as they were determined to create a valuable and purposeful service-based business for fellow Australians. This passion and commitment drove them to launch MyConnect in 2006, which has now grown to become Australia’s largest utility connections company.

Our story

Back in the early days it was all about the hustle, as Hus and Rob split their time between a 12 square metre office and the road, building relationships with real estate agents and leading utility service companies, while also ensuring they seamlessly organised the utility connections for tenants.

Word spread quickly within the industry and before they knew it, Hus and Rob employed their first team members in 2008. Three office moves later they now have a team of over 80 Aussies, dedicated to looking after your moving needs… and they feel this is only the beginning.
