MyConnect Community Housing Promotion – Terms and Conditions
Customer Validation:
Customers may be contacted by MyConnect to validate their information and confirm eligibility. This may include providing a meter number for your property and verifying your identification.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The promotion offering a Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard® is valid only for community housing customers under approved accounts and is offered solely at MyConnect’s discretion.
- Approved accounts are those referred through participating community housing providers and approved by MyConnect.
- Customers must connect at least one eligible utility service (electricity, gas, internet, Pay TV, or phone) at their new address through MyConnect.
- Note: Electricity connections in Western Australia (WA) and embedded networks are excluded from this promotion.
- Customers must not cancel their connection request at any time before the connection is completed. Services must be successfully connected to qualify, booking a connection alone does not meet eligibility requirements.
- This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer or code.
- MyConnect reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or terminate this promotion at any time without prior notice.
Fraudulent Activity:
MyConnect reserves the right to disqualify any participant and cancel any issued rewards if fraudulent activity is suspected. This includes, but is not limited to, providing false information, submitting connection requests for addresses that are not genuine move-ins, or attempting to manipulate the promotion in any way. MyConnect may request additional documentation to verify genuine occupancy at the connected address. Failure to provide satisfactory proof may result in forfeiture of eligibility and any associated rewards.
Gift Card Details:
- Eligible customers will receive their digital gift card via SMS to the mobile number provided during sign-up.
- Gift cards will be sent on or after the customer’s move-in date. Please allow up to two (2) weeks after your move-in date to receive the SMS.
- The gift card will be issued as a Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard®, delivered digitally to your mobile device.
- Customers will receive:
- $50 Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard® for connecting electricity and gas.
- $40 Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard® for connecting internet, Pay TV, or phone.
- Customers may receive a separate reward for each eligible service connected. The total combined reward value is capped at $220 per eligible address.
Important Information:
- Any costs associated with redeeming or using the Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard® are the responsibility of the customer.
- The Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard® must be activated within two (2) months of issue and is valid for 12 months after activation. Any unused balance remaining at expiry will be forfeited without notice.
- The card is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
- MyConnect accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or undelivered gift cards once issued.
- Card expiry dates and balance information can be accessed via your mobile device in your digital wallet.
- The Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard® is issued by EML Payment Solutions Limited (ABN 30 131 436 532), AFSL 404131, pursuant to license by Mastercard. Mastercard and the circles design are registered trademarks of Mastercard International Incorporated.
